THE COFFEE PROJECT

A growing trial. A patient beginning.

Our coffee project is led by John Ou, working alongside coffee plantation consultants. We are preparing a trial that puts observation and care for this land first.

Illustrative concept of a young coffee shoot

Botanical and still-life images are illustrative concepts, not photographs of current products or facilities.

The first-block direction

Following the consultants’ recommendations, we have selected IPR107, NR25 and Marsellesa for the first-block planting direction. These are selections for the planned trial; they do not mean that the trees are already planted or producing coffee.

A separate early trial

Paraíso is part of a separate early trial direction. We will share its progress when nursery and planting records are available. It is separate from the three first-block selections.

What we hope to learn

Our planned observations include establishment, seasonal growth and how the trees respond to local conditions. We want to record what happens, learn with our consultants and share useful observations as the trial develops.

From records to stories

We will distinguish plans from completed work in every update. Planting dates, flowering, harvest and any future estate-grown coffee will be described only when supported by records. Growing takes time; there is no harvest date or yield promise.
